Andrew's Funeral

Andrew's Quaker Meeting for Worship and Remembrance took place on Friday 30th January 2026, immediately after a private family cremation.

The Carter family are extremely grateful to the many people from throughout Andrew's life who made such an effort to attend and share their memories of him.

Because the number of attendees was too large for Andrew's spiritual home of Friargate Meeting House, his memorial Meeting was kindly accommodated by the Central Methodist Church in St Saviourgate. Many thanks to the Deacon of this chapel and the wonderful events team of Chris and Ian who were extremely welcoming and ensured the day ran smoothly. And of course, also to the many Friargate Friends who helped with everything from catering to stewarding as well as facilitating the Meeting itself.
